Ain’t it a beauty? The Egyptian Pharaoh Hound is the official dog of Malta. It’s one of the oldest breeds in the world, it’s origins dating back to almost 4500 BC in Egypt. Later on the Phoenicians took it to the island of Malta where they preserved the breed in it’s purest form for over 2000 years.
